The location is great, and the rooms are spacious. Service was magnificent. The kitchens are a bit small and don’t have many cooking utensils, and there’s no shared living area. Still, there’s plenty of room to dab.

We stayed at the Palmengarten holiday apartment from April 23 to 26, 2018. It was clean and quiet, and everything was easy to reach from this very good location. Our host was so friendly and told us a lot about Bamberg. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The street noise made it hard to sleep, even with the windows shut. When trucks or buses passed, the whole apartment vibrated. Two rooms were always warm because we couldn’t turn off the heating, so we had to open the windows and let even more noise in. We stayed for a few days, and the apartment was both outdated and dirty. I really can’t recommend it.

I slept well in the beds, felt properly rested, and would gladly stay again. The staff helped me find some lesser-known spots around Bamberg that aren’t in the guidebooks. It felt more like having my own apartment than staying in a hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The shower and toilet were across the hall, but there was still a proper bathroom.
