Everything you could need is in the rooms, and they’re spotlessly clean. The location makes it easy to get everywhere on foot. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, and we highly recommend this holiday apartment.

The balcony got plenty of use, morning and evening, and the road outside never bothered us. It was quiet at night, too. We spent eight days hiking around Bayerisch Eisenstein, and the Treml holiday apartment made a comfortable base for all those long walks. It was bright, welcoming, spotless, and had everything we needed without being fancy. The creaky floors made it feel even cozier, and the friendly owners clearly look after the house and its huge grounds. We felt at home as soon as we arrived.

We stayed over Easter and found a small Easter greeting waiting on the doorstep. The place was very clean, had everything we needed, and the landlords were really friendly.

Buses and regional trains were free with the tourist tax, which made it easy to get to plenty of appealing places. The apartment itself is spacious and well kept, with lovely views in several directions and modern equipment chosen with care. The owners were friendly, easy to reach, and attentive to what we needed. We felt at home right away and would happily recommend it.

The only real drawback was the floor, which creaked like crazy. Otherwise, this is a good-value stay in a very spacious first-floor apartment with an outdoor balcony, or maybe more of a gallery. The older building has been renovated and was exceptionally clean. Parking is on the property, the owners are nice, and the location works well for Grosse Arber, with a grocery store across the road.
