It was easy to park, and we could leave the car there for a walk around town even after checkout. The room was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and flexible. The bus and train stations are also nearby.

Breakfast was the best, and our table was already assigned. We enjoyed the spread a lot. In the morning we met the caretakers; she spoke great English and gave each of us a Bertesgaden day card. We appreciated the gesture and hospitality, and it saved us time and money since we could use the cards as bus passes around Bertesgaden. The guesthouse is about a five-minute walk from the train station. We arrived fairly late, but the caretakers had left us a note with clear instructions for letting ourselves in. Our room was clean and spacious. This was easily the best hospitality we've experienced in Bavaria. Highly recommended.

The mountain view from the windows was lovely, and the price was affordable. Everything worked properly, including the facilities, and the shower was nice and strong. The owner had added a thoughtful touch with candy on the bed. I'd definitely stay again soon.

After a day hiking in or around the Alps, you can pick up some fairly cheap beer here and kick back. Breakfast is included and all you can eat. The host speaks excellent English, and the hotel is very clean. It's easy to get around from here: the station is no more than a five-minute walk, and downtown is about fifteen minutes on foot if you take the stairs behind the station. If you don't fancy walking, they give you a bus pass that covers the whole area for free. My only complaint was the shower head. It kept sliding down the rod, probably because previous guests had abused the tension mechanism. Four out of five, and I'd definitely stay again.
