I was glad I stayed at Hotel Boskamp instead of booking somewhere in central Cologne. The hotel is very clean and tucked away in a quiet area, and the people there are all so kind. Breakfast was delicious, and leftover food goes to feed the animals rather than being wasted. The train station is very close, with direct connections to Koelnmesse and the long distance train station. We explored Bergisch Gladbach and came across some interesting restaurants and malls to spend time at. I can't say enough good things about the place, and I'd definitely come back. 😄

For Gamescom 2026, we booked through a booking platform. The hotel then contacted us, asking us to cancel there and book directly because they hadn't accounted for the higher prices yet. That’s completely unacceptable. They haven't replied to any of our emails either, so we strongly advise against booking with them.
