It's a charming-looking building, tucked away from the hassle of the main streets beside a nice promenade. The area is quiet. Staff are very friendly and provide professional service when you need it.

There are kids shouting and crying, and the kids area isn't separated, so the noise makes it hard to concentrate.

The space is lovely, but it's very loud. Kids play and cry in the section that isn't isolated, and no one says anything. People at reception talk very loudly too. If, like me, you need more quiet to focus, this might not be the best place.

The garden is a quiet spot to sit outside in summer, and inside there are neatly arranged study tables looking out onto the yard. The staff are polite and helpful. It's a wonderful little library, with interesting architecture, overlapping levels and some features of the old building preserved, which gives it a charming feel. Edit: I came back to study, and this time it was really loud, as other reviewers have said. Some people were practically shouting, and no one told them to stop.

Lovely place, but the air conditioner was very loud and shook the building while I was there. I'm rather sensitive, though.
