Bob W Berlin Mitte

Mitte is a very convenient base, and the digital setup worked well for me. The location is excellent, and the room itself was comfortable. Still, the room I received didn't match the description. I booked through Booking.com, and the photos for that room category weren't of my unit. Noise also carried clearly from the corridor and nearby rooms, and the kitchen tap dripped off and on during the night.

The chat support was quick and helpful whenever I had a question, and digital check-in went smoothly. My room was very comfortable, and the location made getting around Berlin and seeing the sights easy. Yada Yada restaurant is nearby, which was a nice bonus. I recommend Bob W Mitte for a comfortable, professional stay.

The apartment was neat, clean and well equipped, and I liked the historical details. Having our own kitchen and facilities let us make food and save some money. The virtual support team was great, and renting bikes made it easy to explore Berlin. Everything felt straightforward, with restaurants, public transport and landmarks all close by.

Apart from the issue after checkout, we had a nice 11-night stay in a central Berlin neighborhood. But then Bob W charged 250 euros to my card for an alleged cigarette smell, without asking me or checking first. We did absolutely no smoking in the room. We slept with the window open for fresh air, and there's a smoking area with an ashtray right below it. Opening the window is my right, and it's not my fault that the smoking area is beneath it. No one mentioned a smoke smell after the scheduled cleaning seven days into our stay. This feels like they wanted easy money. For such an expensive place, I expected more common sense and better customer service. I'm disappointed with how it ended and want to speak with a supervisor to get the charge refunded.
