The staff were friendly, even though the reception said they were very short-staffed, and the hotel is right in the center. That was the good part. The room looked nothing like the hotel's photos and felt very dated. The bed wasn't comfortable, the internet didn't work at all, and €100 a night didn't feel worth it.

At this price in Berlin, I wasn't expecting fancy interiors or wooden furniture. I did expect the basics, though. The pillowcase had a huge hole, and there was a clump of hair from previous guests left in the shower. These things are easy enough to sort out, and finding them was just disgusting. One star, no more.

The room was spacious for a double bed and very quiet, though it looked a little worn. The bathroom was small but practical, and the price was quite reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is ideal if you're visiting this area. I didn't try breakfast, so can't comment on it. You get what you pay for, and I'd recommend it for the price and location.

The breakfast was good, and the room was quiet, but I wouldn't stay here again. The building is old, there's no lift or car park, and nobody was available to help. Getting in from the street was complicated, and they don't handle reservations after 8 pm. For what it costs, it isn't worth it.
