10/10
The rooms look a bit dated and aren’t especially classy, but the people here are really charming. It’s very clean, centrally located, and fairly priced, which is getting rare in Berlin. Those things more than made up for the room design for me, so I gave the hotel five stars.

The rooms are plain and small, and the bathroom is fine apart from the shower curtain, which I really hate. Breakfast is basic but okay. There also seem to be lots of young guests, including backpackers and school groups.

The wifi was quite slow, and at times I couldn’t use it at all. Otherwise, I had a clean, nice room, the staff were very friendly, and public transport was close by. I’d recommend the place.

Save your time and money and pick somewhere else. There was no housekeeping, and by day two the toilet was out of paper. The roughly 60-year-old man at reception had bad manners and wasn’t helpful. He wouldn’t give me a locker key, but insisted I leave my room key there. Worst place ever, with terrible people working there.

For the price, this little hotel was very good. It’s right in the heart of Berlin, and the employees were really helpful.
