city-room Apartments Berlin

We stayed five nights and had no problems. Everything you need is close, and public transport is easy to get to. For such a cheap price, this apartment is incredible. If you're going to Berlin, choose it over any hotel!

The location was perfect, very close to both U-bahn and S-Bahn. The apartment has enough room for six people, plus a washing machine and dishwasher.

I won't recommend this place. We were told a day before arrival that our booked apartment was unavailable because of water damage. That was fair enough, and they offered us somewhere else. I assumed it was another City-Room apartment. Two days into our stay, I learned we were actually in an Allamar apartments property (allamar-apartments.de), not a City-Room apartment. I was surprised and upset that nobody had told me that from the start. I only found out after emailing our City Room contact about dirty and broken things. He told me to contact Allamar apartments instead. City Room wasn't honest with me, and rather than help fix the problems, they passed responsibility to the other company.

Families should find this apartment great. It's clean, everything you need is nearby, and our kids loved the small playground out front.
