Classic Hotel Pension

The breakfast had a fantastic range of choices, and check-in was smooth, even though I arrived outside the usual hours. The staff were accommodating. I also liked how central the hotel was, which made it easy to explore the area. My room was clean and tidy. The decor and furniture felt a little dated, but everything worked and was in good condition. I thought it was good value for the money and would recommend it to someone wanting a convenient, comfortable stay.

The location is just perfect. Staff were super friendly, the rooms had enough space for a city trip, and there was more than enough at breakfast.

The building is clearly old, and there was a lot of mold. The showers were dirty, the bathroom smelled odd and had poor ventilation, and the room got really hot and damp at night. Breakfast was okay, and reception and staff were good. Still, for three days it was okay, especially given the spot: right by the zoo, huge shopping markets, and both U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations nearby. That made it much easier to see Berlin in three days. The internet was good, the sheets were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

For the price, the rooms and breakfast were great. There's a tube station nearby, and the tourist spots aren't far away.
