Crowne Plaza Berlin City Centre by IHG

Being able to check in early was a lovely surprise. We got to the hotel around 11 a.m. without expecting a room yet, but asked anyway and they sorted it out straight away. The hotel is very central, right by shopping malls and stores. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond throughout. Breakfast had good quality food and lots of choice, though on weekends it gets hectic after 9, so 8:00-9:00 a.m. or earlier is better. I used the gym three evenings and the saunas twice. Both were relaxing, well maintained, and not very crowded. The two saunas were excellent, though the cool room felt a bit random. Would totally come back 😎

John from the Philippines made a real difference to our visit. The restaurant was very busy, but he looked after our whole family and was especially kind and helpful with the children. It was a shame to see some of his co-workers doing very little while he handled almost everything, yet he stayed attentive and professional. He deserves recognition for his dedication and service. We’re from England and also found the rooms clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is excellent, and the lobby’s Christmas decorations were lovely. We’d gladly visit Crowne Plaza Berlin City Centre Kudamm again.

The breakfast spread was huge, though it was the same each day and didn’t include cakes. At the hotel bar, the welcome drink was free, and it was always busy with a good vibe. I’d recommend the hotel, even though it’s a little outside the city centre, since the transport links are fast and convenient. My room was large, comfortable in temperature, and the bed was comfy. I liked having a pillow menu. I’d have loved a heated pool or jacuzzi, but the pool wasn’t warm enough to relax in. There are two saunas at different temperatures, though I think a steam room would be a better use of the extra space. The chocolate Santa the hotel gave us one morning was a lovely surprise. This was my second stay at a crowne plaza, and I was very comfortable.

They decorated the lobby impressively for Christmas and New Year. We were also given answers and solutions for all our requests. The staff were warm, responsive, and showed real care and empathy toward guests. The prices seemed fair and decent. We were very impressed with the service. Amazing hotel!
