It was pretty empty on Friday morning, but they wouldn't let me sit and work for an hour over a coffee...

The café was to die for, and the rooms are gorgeous. I liked the communal showers even more. This was one of my favorite hotels on my Europe trip in June. I know the no-device policy may be an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed disconnecting and think that's how food should be enjoyed. There are signs on the tables about it, so it wasn't a surprise. I'd absolutely return!

A nice spot for reading, though the wrap had way too much mayo-like sauce for me. The coffee is pretty pricey too, 4.50 for a flat white.

I ordered a doppio espresso macchiato on Tuesday at 4 PM and got burnt coffee that looked more like a cappuccino. On top of that, they said I couldn't use my laptop, even though I was on my own internet connection. Worst experience. Now I know which café I won't be going back to.

The food and drinks are good, and the space is comfortable and well located. Service lets it down badly: the team is often rude and isn't friendly even on a good day. I really can't recommend it. There are other good places nearby, so try one of those.
