The Grand Inn Hotel

For under €50, it was affordable, but I wouldn't stay here again. This felt more like a room rental or motel than a hotel. The place was extremely dirty, with a bad cigarette smell in the lobby and corridors, and the room had an unclean bed and linens. There was construction all over, exposed electrical installations in rooms and hallways, and the bathroom flooded, which felt like a hygiene risk. Towels weren't proper, and hot water was often missing after 10pm. Parking access was misleading and only suited SUVs, not standard cars. What we got was nothing like the description and wasn't fit for a stay.

At 3am, someone tried to get into my room, so I yelled that I was awake and told them to go away. I couldn't sleep after that and checked out at 6am. I was alone, and I felt very unsafe. This isn't a normal hotel, in my experience. There were strange men living there permanently who wandered around late at night. The building was very old and unhygienic, in a run-down, somewhat isolated area without many people nearby to ask for help. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially women staying alone.

The one bright spot was the very friendly receptionist. The hotel itself was dirty, with standing water in the bathroom and bedbugs. Unless you're after a horror movie location, I really don't recommend staying here. There might even be blood on the wall when you check in.

There was no elevator, and the room wasn't cleaned after a night, not even to make the bed. I also expected a more modern building, parking, and space in front. The pictures showed only details, not the whole place. I stayed two nights and never felt comfortable. The room was really dirty and smelled horrible. Shower quickly, or water ends up in the room. The place felt fake, and through the window I could see and hear the buses. I can't recommend it.
