What a disaster. The place was dirty, with a tiny, dingy room that looked nothing like the photos. I felt misled. My mother-in-law was booked there for three nights, but luckily we found her another place after just one awful night at Eastside pension. Pension Parlamento cost the same, and was much bigger, nicely furnished, and spotlessly clean.

Prenzlauerberg has plenty of nice shops, bars, and little restaurants, and U Eberswalderstraße is right out front. It's a quiet place in a great spot, with lots of privacy. The owner trusts his guests, and is easy to reach by phone if you need anything.

Pete, the guy at reception, was really kind and helpful. The apartment had all the utilities I needed for a medium-length stay, and the neighborhood is lively, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. There's a street food market, an Italian craft beer pub, and even a coworking space around the corner. The subway is very close too. I'll come back when I'm in Berlin again.

The hosts were very helpful, and the place was quiet. Rooms are small and basic, but you're in a central spot, close to a Metro station.
