I want to give Khan special mention. He showed real compassion and took a selfless interest in someone in need, helping me. I loved the service, my room, and the location. Everything here was 5/5. I’ll definitely be back.

I was in Berlin for the marathon and had a great stay overall. The room was spacious and clean, and having both S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations nearby made getting around easy. The neighbourhood felt very safe, and I was comfortable walking there late at night and early in the morning. Breakfast had lots of options and was always very good, though it was often busy. Getting seated took a long time, and cutlery and dishes weren’t replenished quickly. My room was extremely warm. Staff said some rooms don’t have AC control and couldn’t offer a way to cool it down. The hotel was loud too, with noise from the hallway and the room above. After my travel day, I found it hard to rest because of what I assume was housekeeping noise, and on some nights I could hear the room above or doors slamming in the hall. Housekeeping also moved my personal items around quite a bit, more than I’ve experienced elsewhere. Nothing seemed to be missing, but it made me uncomfortable, so I skipped room cleaning on my last night.

Miriam at the front desk was delightful, professional, and warm both when we checked in and when we checked on. We were a family of five in two standard-sized rooms, with an extra bed in the second room, and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping didn’t seem to account for the extra person, so we had to ask for more towels every night. The room across the hall was clearly having a party until midnight, and we had to ask the front desk to send someone. Otherwise, no issues.

We tried a sandwich at the reception bar and it was tasty. The rooms were large and clean, the service was very good, and breakfast was very good too. The hotel is well placed.
