Meininger Hotel Berlin Mitte Humboldthaus

I stayed six nights, Sunday to Sunday, because plane tickets were more expensive at the time unless I waited until the following weekend. It was an affordable stay with practical access and amenities. My personal space was small but easy to keep tidy, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. A great experience.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the price felt like good value. The staff were very friendly, especially the reception team, who were really helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

The location is right in the middle of the city, with everything close at hand. It’s mostly a hostel, though they have private rooms too. Ours was simple but clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were nice.

Victoria at the front desk really listened when we explained how uncomfortable our first room was, and she proactively found us a more spacious one. We were grateful for her help. We’d arrived from the Meininger hotel near the Frankfurt airport and stayed from the 18th to the 21st of september, three nights. The first room was so tiny we couldn’t even open our two big suitcases. A metal door in the wall kept swinging open whenever we opened the main room door, so the hotel put tape on it. There were no nightstands, just little stools, and we had to use a chair instead. It was really uncomfortable, even after trying to make it work. The replacement room was much like the one in Frankfurt and had a beautiful view. After checkout, we needed a taxi, but there weren’t any near the hotel because of the Berlin running marathon. Victoria took the time to call an uber and make sure it arrived on time. Thanks, Victoria!
