The owner was patient and trusted us to keep the booking when I had trouble with the money transfer on my end. I’m also very grateful that he helped me and my elderly parents with our luggage. The place felt warm and welcoming, like it reflected his considerate nature. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you, Mr. Marquardt. The backyard garden was lovely to wake up to, and the owner’s information file was a real help for first-time visitors like us. The old building is beautiful, and impressively clean. It was SUPER CLEAN, in fact, and keeping a place like that spotless can’t be easy. Everything was well equipped and supplied, from coffee, tea, and spices to toiletries and all the other things we might need. Nothing was missing. Buses and S-Bahn stations are a three-minute walk away, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center. There’s also a bakery and shops within three minutes. We liked being far enough from the center for a quiet, calm stay, while still having an easy ride into town. There’s no parking space offered by the property, but there were always plenty of spots along the street, and we could easily find one right outside. It felt very safe, with no problems.
