Lulu Guldsmeden Hotel

The loft was a lovely bonus, and the kids had a great time on the swing! Our room was just right, with everything we needed and enough room for all of us. Lulu Guldsmeden Hotel is beautiful, and we got such a warm welcome from reception when we arrived. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

Dear Lulu Team, We had a lovely stay at your Berlin hotel. There was enough room and everything we needed for the three of us, my mother, my daughter, and me. The swing in our room was the highlight, of course. We also really appreciated all the thoughtful sustainability touches. The reusable water bottles kept us hydrated while we explored the city, and there were things like body oil, a wooden toothbrush, conditioner, and more. Those details aren't standard everywhere. The room was clean and the staff were so friendly. If it hadn't been so cold, we would have rented bikes! Thank you for your hospitality! Susanne

The lobby is my favorite, with the lounge, restaurant, and bar all together at the entrance. The hotel has a different style and a Scandic vibe right in central Berlin. Rooms are small but cozy, good for solo travelers or a weekend. For a longer stay or if you're traveling with someone, I'd look at an upgraded room for that bit of extra space.

The accommodation itself was pleasant, and the team was amazing. But the payment system the hotel uses, Nexi Germany GmbH, caused a lot of trouble for my family and me. We were charged twice after checkout without authorization, both times at 2 am. They say they have 14 days by law to return the money, which is absurd to begin with. As a hotelier myself, I carefully check the contractors I work with. I hope Lulu gives this more attention from now on. It's a shame to say goodbye to the whole chain over these awful payment issues. There are plenty of other places, and I'd tell my friends to stay somewhere else.
