Nena Apartments Hermannplatz

We’d stayed at Nena in Kreuzberg before and had a perfect experience, but this visit with our child was awful. The apartment was filthy, with a dirty couch, floor, windows, walls, and more, plus a cigarette smell in the hallway. The crib for our child wasn’t provided either. We had to book a hotel at the last minute. Nena’s reception was closed, nobody answered the emergency line, and our emails are still being ignored. There’s been no refund. Very sad, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

We’ve used Nena Apartments at other locations and found them comfortable, but this one was a calamity. We left within 30 minutes and had to find somewhere else right away. The floor was sticky, like nobody had mopped after a party. There was visible mold in the bathroom, and every piece of furniture, from the couches to the beds, was stained. This was far beyond needing a touch-up. It felt like basic housekeeping had failed and the room hadn’t been properly cleaned for weeks. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum, and this place failed spectacularly. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I spent two months in a nice two-room apartment and enjoyed my stay. It was very quiet in the yard, even though it’s at the intersection of two U Bahn stations. Apartment manager Mr.Ayman was polite, helpful, and always positive. Katherina at the central office handled requests precisely and on time. The place and team were both very nice and professional. I’ll definitely stay at Nena apartments Hermanplatz next time I’m in Berlin.

Ayman, the apartment manager, gave us all the information we needed and made things comfortable from arrival to departure. We spent Christmas and New Year with family at Nena Apartments, and the apartment was bright, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. It was easy to get around, with supermarkets and public transport nearby. We hope to visit this excellent place again!
