NH Bingen

We brought a tour of 54 Americans through Europe, and this was one of our stops. It was a great place to recharge. The staff were very accommodating, the rooms were clean and spacious, and both dinner and breakfast buffets were really tasty. Modern, too. I’d highly recommend it.

The hotel sits right beside the Rhein, close to the old town and just a short walk from the dock where we took a five-hour cruise to see the castles. We only stayed two nights, but the location worked out really well. Check-in was friendly and quick, and the underground garage was handy since we had a car. Breakfast had lots of choice and was served in a restaurant with big windows looking out over the river. Our room was clean, though it could use an update, and the bed was very hard. I’d still recommend NH Bingen for a stay in Bingen.

Finding a hotel that would take our three cats and two dogs was a challenge, so NH Hotels made traveling around Europe much easier for us. We had room for all seven of us, the staff were kind, and the rate was reasonable. We bring our own litter box, beds, and food for the cats. After staying in Berlin the night before, we needed somewhere near Frankfurt, and NH Hotel let us book right away. They checked with our regular NH Hotel in Hanover, who recommended us and said our pets are well-behaved and never cause trouble. Bingen is a lovely, peaceful town, and it was nice to walk around and enjoy the scenery. NH Hotels made us feel welcome while traveling with our pets. The hotel was clean, well equipped, and genuinely pet-friendly, and I’d recommend it.

I wouldn’t stay at Hotel Bingen again unless it makes major improvements. There was loud music one night until midnight, so getting proper rest was hard. The room also felt neglected and outdated, with a broken sink and no air conditioning. All they had was a small fan that barely helped. The staff were generally unfriendly and not helpful, which added to a disappointing stay. For the price, I expected more comfort and better service.
