IFA Rügen Hotel & Ferienpark

The location was great, the outside area was nice, and parking was good. We stayed three nights as a family of three, and the stay was okay overall, but there were some inconveniences. The sofa in the living area was very dusty, which was annoying since we had to turn it into a bed at night. One day there was no hot water in the bathroom, so I had to bathe in cold water. The pool is in another building, so you have to go outside to get to it, which we found inconvenient in winter. They said the water would be 28 degrees, but it felt cool instead. The rooms were okay, but I didn't find the apartment clean.

The location is the only good thing here. We paid an arm and a leg for seven days and had a terrible stay with our toddler. The room was mediocre, the bathroom dirty, there was no microwave, and the kitchen had only two pots and a frying pan. They put us in the construction crew wing, and the noise kept our baby from sleeping. We've stayed in lots of hotels and never had one like this. Disappointed, and we'll never return. 👎🏼 Look for another hotel.

Right by a beautiful beach, with stunning scenery whatever the weather. We found the rooms spacious and clean, and the breakfast bar had plenty of variety. The staff we met were friendly and down to earth. At the busier times staffing seemed tight, but the team were doing their best and stayed on top of things with a positive attitude. For a three-star hotel, it was wonderful for the price. Some other reviews seemed pretty harsh given what this hotel costs. If you're after an indulgent luxury experience, other places in Binz may suit you better.

The location is the standout, very close to the beach. Otherwise, be ready for some downsides: breakfast was really monotonous, with awful vegetables; the rooms are decent but look quite old inside, and you might be placed in a separate building. The pool is nearly always full and has no lifeguard. Every extra attraction for children inside the hotel costs more.
