Terminal Park MOTEL

For a quick stop while passing through, this self check-in motel was a good stay and good value. The room was great, the bathroom was clean, parking was free, and the location worked well. It’s basic, though: towels, a TV, a bed and cups were provided, but there’s no hair dryer, kettle, free water or fridge.

The rooms are large and clean, and the motel sits right by the highway. For travellers, it’s a very good price for the quality, and I’d recommend it. Booking through booking com was easy. Once I’d paid, I received a code for the self-service check-in lock. There’s a machine inside for drinks, sweets and chips, with McDonalds and KFC about a five-minute walk away.

There’s no one on site to check you in or help during your stay. Whatever time you arrive, you have to use a four-digit code to open the key box outside the main entrance and get the keys for both the room and the entrance. I messaged to ask about borrowing a hairdryer and kettle, but got no reply. Neither was provided in the room. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a woman travelling alone. It’s on a very quiet back street surrounded by warehouses or factories, with no staff or security cameras on the premises. Cargo trucks pass the nearby warehouses in the morning. Don’t expect the service you’d normally associate with a hotel or motel. The previous comment seemed fake, or possibly about a different hotel.

I’m Nana from Ghana, and I’ve stayed in lots of different places. Terminal Park is beautiful, comfortable and affordable. I fully recommend it. Try it once and you’ll always go back!
