Check-in only starts at 6 pm. There was no soap, and the place felt very primitive. The soundproofing was the worst I’ve experienced, and the hotel fell well below budget chain standards. I’d have been better off at a local guesthouse.

The food and breakfast were okay, and the room was clean. But the heater didn’t work efficiently, so it was very cold. I’m not someone who gets cold easily, and with it at -7 outside, I can’t understand why the heater was switched off at night.

It was the worst hotel night I’ve ever had. On Sunday evening, the owner hosted an after-match party for his friends in the hotel bar. It was extremely noisy, with people singing German songs together and pounding the tables with their fists and the floor with their feet. At 1 a.m. I called the owner, who may have been drunk, and he offered to move me to another room even though many guests throughout the hotel were complaining. I had to say I’d call the police to get them to stop. This is the first time the noise in a hotel has come from the owners.

It was good otherwise, but there was no soap or towels.

The rooms were nice, and the breakfast was good. The hotel has good personality.
