The staff were so polite and helpful, and the breakfast was great. My room was clean and spacious, with a clean bathroom and daily housekeeping. I also loved the views of Bochum park. Amazing hotel, probably the best in bochum, and in a great spot. Loved it here.

The hotel sits right across from a big park, which is a major plus if you want a peaceful stay. My room was very clean and always smelled fresh, and breakfast was good. The front desk staff were lively and helpful. I left happy and satisfied, and would strongly recommend it.

The warning sign by the oddly configured stairs near the lobby was only in German. My husband tripped there and broke his nose. There was blood everywhere, and the hotel clerk called an ambulance; he was treated at a nearby hospital. Because of the injury, we had to extend our stay so he could see the doctor for further procedures. We spent four days at the hotel, but management showed no sympathy and made no effort to comfort us. When I told the manager how disappointed I was by the lack of concern, she said, “It was not our fault,” “We called the ambulance and gave the first aid,” “If you fall on the street, you are on your own,” and “What do you want us to do?” For someone in hospitality, that coldheartedness was remarkable. The manager lacks basic human compassion. Be warned.

The front desk service wasn’t impressive. The restaurant, though, was good for dinner and breakfast, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Quite a nice hotel.
