If you arrive late, you can collect your room key from a machine. It’s easy to find your way around even though the accommodation is large. The location might look inconvenient, but there’s a tram stop only a few metres away with connections to anywhere. The accommodation is very good.

The rooms are nice and the staff are lovely. It’s fairly close to the centre, and there’s also a tram station very nearby.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of parking at the front and back, with public transport right by the entrance. But this felt more like a basic youth hostel for adults than a modern conference centre. The building seemed to date from the 1970s and badly needed renovation. My room looked worn, with a big carpet stain by the window/door, and the atmosphere felt like a hospital. Thin insulation meant I heard a lot from other guests and outside. Breakfast ran from 7-10 a.m.; it had hot and cold options, but the quality was below mediocre and most dishes were empty around 8:30 a.m. The Eastern European lady in the breakfast area was rough in her attitude and behaviour. It’s a long way north of the city centre, and €124 per night including breakfast was way overpriced, probably because of an exhibition surcharge.

I stayed two nights for a conference. The accommodation was moderate, and the heater gave me trouble on the first night, though the bathroom was clean. The food was good, and the snack break was moderated. Service was great: I forgot my notebook and got it back.
