The restaurant is one of the best parts of our visits. The menu has plenty of variety, the food is skillfully prepared for hotel guests, and people come in just to eat there without staying overnight. The hotel is excellent for our company's week-long work and social get-togethers, which we've held here for the past few years, except during The Event. We're a fully remote company with people spread around the world, so these occasional gatherings matter a lot. Rooms are very comfortable, with good beds, sofas, work areas if needed, and a bathroom many people would envy. There's no air conditioning, though, and that was uncomfortable during our most recent visit in the height of summer, when it was especially hot. Otherwise the room facilities are stellar. The building is old, but accessibility was considered during the renovations. There are steps around the hotel, yet there's another way to reach places without using them. For instance, the restaurant has steps in the middle, but one of the two elevators is right beside them for guests who need step-free access. Getting there does take some planning: you'll need a taxi from the local train station or a car. I highly recommend the hotel for events like ours. I've attached a few food photos. The official location photos are accurate, and the place really does look and feel as you'd expect.
