The vineyard setting is beautiful, and the rooms are clean and fairly spacious. We enjoyed a cozy wine tasting and took a few bottles home. The wine was good, the staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great too. A couple of small things could be better: the beds were a little too soft, and parking was tight if you arrived late in the evening. Still, we had a really nice time here, and I'd definitely recommend it.

A nice view and an excellent breakfast. I also liked the simple wine setup: take a bottle from the reception fridge, note it down, and pay later. Highly recommended.

We came back to Bernkastel this week for more wine and were offered a tasting, with lovely conversation about the family business and how the wine is made. After we'd picked our bottles, they gave us great tips for charming restaurants and bars, so we wanted to pass those along too. We stayed here last summer and loved it. The rooms were spacious and clean with beautiful views, and the receptionists were incredibly kind. We bought lots of wine, and they even insisted on helping us load it into the trunk. I highly recommend this lovely place.

We were sorry we'd booked just one night during our eight-day Mosel trip. After a long journey from the UK, this was our first stop in Germany, and it was such a gorgeous place. Our room was modern and clean, the breakfast and dining area were first class, and the host was a ten out of ten. Great value for money, too. The balcony looked out over the vineyard, and I loved being able to help myself to wine, beer, or soft drinks in reception, then write down what I'd had and settle up at checkout. The red wines were lovely and very reasonably priced. The lady hosting us gave us a warm welcome and helped in English when needed. We could have stayed much longer if we'd known how good it would be.
