Whenever I’m in Überseestadt, I stop here for a break. It’s a well-kept hostel with a lunch menu and fast food, plus hot and cold drinks in a bright, welcoming common room. Their opening hours changed recently, and they’re now open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
I haven’t visited yet, but it comes across as modern and welcoming, and I haven’t heard anything bad about it. The location looks fantastic for outings, close to both the city centre and the river. A bike would give you more flexibility :)
It’s in a quiet spot, about a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. My overnight stay was canceled and moved to another date at no extra cost, despite what Booking.com said. The room was small and had a bathroom, but that’s enough for one night.
The men's restrooms were fine, and the atmosphere was pretty basic. The staff at checkout were very friendly, and drink prices seemed reasonable.
The staff were super friendly, and my girlfriend and I were really happy with our stay. We were there for the Bremen Carnival in 2015. The hotel was modern and comfortable. Keep it up!
