The room was clean and had a lovely view, and the bathroom was amazingly clean and plastic-free. The staff were all so kind and nice. It was my birthday yesterday, and they set up a lovely table for my son and me with a greeting card and sweets. Vielen lieben Dank ❤️ We’d be very happy to come back!

The hotel makes an effort to be greener, with less disposable packaging, including at breakfast. There were some vegan options and plenty of vegetarian choices, though it would be nice to have oat milk or dairy-free butter too. Our room was clean and spacious, with a view over the sea and ports. You can open the window to adjust the temperature, and the large bathroom had everything we needed, even a scale to check if you weigh enough ;-) They also provided coffee and a machine for four cups.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the harbor view from the room was beautiful. The rooms are small and a bit dated, with no fridge. The central location is convenient, but parking is a hassle because the lot’s daily rate doesn’t let you come and go.

I accidentally booked the hotel twice. They waited until I arrived to check in before telling me, instead of letting me know earlier so I could cancel the extra reservation. Then they charged me for an extra night as the cancellation fee.

The dinner restaurant was great, and the hotel has a lovely view. Breakfast had a huge selection with lots of delicious things to choose from. Really nice hotel!
