Weingut Goeres

We come back regularly to stay with Michaela and Michael Goeres. They’re very friendly hosts, and their wine tastes great and goes down easily, even with my severe reflux. The price is fair too. The guest pitch has electricity, a toilet and a shower, though the nearby main road can be a bit annoying. You can spend time in the wine bar or the covered outdoor seating area. In the evening, there’s a delicious meal to be had in Briedel, and the nearby Mees distillery is another culinary highlight. Michael’s covered wagon rides are an absolute must.

We spent the Corpus Christi holiday at the M. Goeres winery with nine adults and three children. The campsite is right by the Moselle and has everything you need. The hosts were incredibly kind and made time for guests even while very busy. The wine was excellent and easy to drink. We highly recommend the horse-drawn carriage trip through the vineyards. Be sure to book it with the owner.

Such a friendly, lovely family and such welcoming hosts. We felt right at home, and the wine is well worth trying. Just fantastic all around.

The area around Briedel is beautiful, and the village has some great places to eat, like the Musikalische Wirt. We also thought the horse-drawn carriage ride with Mr. Goeres was well worth the money. We stayed at the Briedler Herzchen apartment for the last three days. It was very clean, and the hosts were so friendly. We were delighted with the accommodation. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely return!
