The hosts were fantastic, and the room was huge, bathroom included. I arrived early and checking in was no problem. We had beers and food at the restaurant, including two tuna pizzas that went perfectly with the beer. There isn't much around, but it didn't matter. It was a great place to relax.

The meals at the attached restaurant were excellent, and both the schnitzel and pizza were delicious and generous for the price. The owner even gave us a complimentary schnapps on each of our two evenings. We had a clean, very spacious room, especially the bathroom, and the owners were friendly. The breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful, and they asked how we wanted our eggs: boiled, scrambled, or fried. A lovely inn. We wholeheartedly recommend the Almehof, run by the Thöne family!

Breakfast had everything I could want, and the room was lovely. Things were very good overall. The mattress felt much too soft to me, but that's personal preference, and other people will probably like it.
