I had a wonderful holiday with the Schwantes family in Buxtehude and would happily return. Their four apartments are in separate, self-contained buildings, and each is beautifully furnished, very clean, tidy, and equipped with what you need to relax after a day out. They’re in a quiet area away from the main roads, but the town center and public transport are both an easy walk away. There’s plenty to see in the center, or you can just take a relaxing break there. The Schwantes family are helpful and know the area well if you want ideas for things to do, so there’s no shortage of ways to spend your holiday. Hamburg is just over an hour away by train, with about a 10-minute walk to the station. By car, it’s around 30 minutes to Finkenwerder, then about 25 minutes by ferry to the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers). I highly recommend a vacation in Buxtehude, and if you need an apartment, I can wholeheartedly recommend theirs. Best regards, Alexander Glaser

Mr. Schwantes was so kind and friendly, and that made our stay really lovely. The apartment is modern and stylish, with all the amenities, and sits in a beautifully landscaped garden. It’s in a lovely, central part of Buxtehude, just a few minutes on foot from the charming old town, yet still very quiet. We were absolutely thrilled.

We stayed with the Schwantes family for several months and felt very comfortable. The apartments are beautifully furnished and well maintained, and the family are friendly and helpful. Even when the car broke down, they came right over to help. The station and Buxtehude town center are just a short walk away, so the location worked perfectly for us. We highly recommend the accommodation.

The area was quiet and a great place to relax, and the apartment had everything we needed. It’s only about 10 minutes to Buxtehude’s town center. I’ve been visiting Buxtehude for years, but this was our first stay with the Schwantes family, and we were delighted. We’d gladly spend future holidays there and highly recommend the accommodation. The apartment is bright, cozy, and clean, with a large bathroom and a very pleasant walk-in shower. Its location is ideal and it has everything you need. The Schwantes family are attentive, friendly landlords. Thanks to them, best wishes, and stay healthy. Highly recommended!
