Breakfast had a decent range of choices, and the open parking was handy. Our room was just right, with a charming balcony, and it was an easy ten-minute walk into the city center. We were pleased with our stay at Hotel Caroline Mathilde in Celle and would recommend it for the comfortable room and location.

The quiet, green setting and the rooms are both great, and breakfast was very good too. It has the feel of a family-run boutique hotel despite its four stars. The old town is an easy, unhurried ten-minute walk away. I've stayed here three times already, and I'm heading back for a fourth.

We liked staying in the charming residential neighborhood, about a 7-10 minute walk from the historic center, and would come back. The hotel was clean, cheerful, and quiet. Breakfast offered lots of things to choose from and was very good. The pool looked beautiful and new, but we didn't have time to use it.

I only stayed one night before continuing to another city in Germany, on my first trip to Europe. The room was spacious, with heating in both the room and bathroom. Breakfast had plenty of choices and ran from 6:30 to 10 on weekdays, and until 11 on weekends. I went to see the sauna and pool but didn't get to try them. Everything was fine, and I'll be back for sure. This was a great hotel in a small city like Celle. Danke.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, and the rooms are nice, especially with a river view. The spa area has a pool and sauna. This was a relaxing stay, though the front desk and service staff seemed a little tired this time. That was different from what we'd experienced on earlier visits.
