The staff were helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The place feels like a three-star hotel: it looks as if it hasn't been updated in about 40 years, though it's been kept up well. There was no in-room safe or phone to call reception, so I had to use my non-German phone. The temperature controls were odd, and it was too hot in December, so I opened the window. The restaurant food was poor and overpriced.

The room felt a bit dated, but it was very clean and the bathroom was comparatively nice. Breakfast was simple but good, and I liked the gym too.

Breakfast had a great selection of different foods, and the lobby bar serves really good beer. The room was decent and clean, but keep in mind there's no fridge. They don't clean the room every day unless you specifically ask at reception, as that's hotel policy.

I had a decently sized room with average equipment, and the lobby was nice. Breakfast was varied and tasty. If you end up in the first room at the start of the corridor, though, you'll hear everyone walking past.
