A fantastic pension, with plenty to see.

Affordable, clean and tidy, right in the city center.

The apartment’s central spot in Cochem was ideal for exploring the area, but that was the only good part of the stay. It looked as if there had been water damage recently, with some damp wallpaper, and overall it seemed no one had cleaned before we arrived. We had to run all the dishes and cutlery through the dishwasher before using them. The kitchen was disgusting, there weren’t enough dishwasher tablets or basic supplies, just one paper towel roll and one garbage bag, so we had to buy everything else. The bathroom was dirty too, including the shower and sink. Floors throughout hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped, and there were traces from previous guests in the toilet. We didn’t want to walk around barefoot. Despite the good location, we can’t recommend this accommodation.

I wouldn’t recommend this poor hotel. The rooms are badly maintained: the shower tap is broken, the soap dispenser by the sink won’t fill, and there’s no toilet paper. The curtains are only half open, and the space between the beds is extremely dirty. A really poor hotel all around.
