Parking was limited when we arrived around dinner time, and almost all the TV channels were snowed out. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly, dinner was great, and breakfast had a limited selection, but what was available tasted good. The hotel is right next to the airport.

Late-night check-in was possible, and the bed and mattress were comfortable. Breakfast included natural juice, though overall it was poor. The rooms look outdated and had little light. There was a lot of motorway noise, the shower cabin was small, and there was no fridge.

Getting to Cologne Airport was easy from here: about a 20-minute walk, or around 15 minutes on foot plus 2 minutes on an e-scooter. Bus route 160 takes about five minutes. The rooms were spacious and clean, prices seemed fair, and the staff kindly arranged a takeaway breakfast for an early flight.

2/10
There was no sign of my booking when I arrived, despite having made it two weeks earlier. The place felt much more like a noisy pub than a hotel, and there was barely any reception. The whole experience came across as very unprofessional.

The staff were really kind, and I enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast. The room was comfortable and very tidy, especially good value for what it cost. A fantastic stay.
