I’d choose a different hotel. We stayed from December 12th to December 14th. The room we booked had a balcony, but only balcony rooms on the fourth floor were available, and there’s no elevator. The place felt very old and unhygienic. We tried not to make too much of it for a two-day stay, but for this price, or a little more, you can find somewhere much better. The booking and payment problems started before we arrived. The hotel first couldn’t process my credit card. Because of what I saw as their shortcomings, I requested a cancellation through booking.com, but it was rejected. Then they managed to pre-authorize the payment on that same card. After we checked out on December 14th, the app showed that the stay had been cancelled. I couldn’t see it in my account or leave a review, so I’ll apply to German Authoroties about this.

The rooms were quite OK, and I can’t complain about the cleaning. I think the location is the best part, since you can reach everywhere within a 15-minute walk.

The service was awful, and they were really rude. If you need to change your booking details, it isn’t possible, and you can’t cancel without paying charges.

Everything about this place feels very low budget, except the price. I paid 140 euros a night for a small room for two. In my opinion, it’s only worth 60-70 a night.

The woman at reception had a beautiful smile. I arrived early and tired, and she checked me in and let me go to my room. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. The location is good, about a 13-minute walk from the Central Station, with the museums and main attractions nearby. Breakfast was good and varied. I definitely recommend this hotel.
