I paid in full for a confirmed stay from 01.03 to 03.03, but work issues meant I couldn't arrive until 02.03. The hotel still refused to let me stay that second night, even though it was paid for. They also wouldn't refund me. Booking.com support tried calling and emailing the hotel while I was sorting this out, but got no response. The manager was rude and dismissive throughout. I find refusing both the paid night and a refund unacceptable, and future guests should be careful when booking here.

Everything was easy and comfortable here: the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff made me feel welcome straight away. Check-in went smoothly, it was quiet, and I slept well. Good value for money, and I'd happily stay again.

We paid 100 euros for a room with a window that wouldn't close. It stayed open, letting in the cold, wind, and noise, and it made the room feel unsettling. When we asked reception to close it, they said it couldn't be done without calling a technician, and that no other rooms were available. In December, being able to shut the window is essential to me. The location may be good, but this was my first and last visit. I'll file an official complaint through the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) website, so they'll hear from me again.

Breakfast was generous and really good, with nice coffee and lovely breakfast staff. The reception team were lovely too, especially the morning receptionist, who is always cheerful and helpful. I'd stay again, just never in room 206 because the beds are terrible. 😢

Kareem at reception deserves a special thanks for being so helpful and professional. The rooms were clean, the location was good, and the staff were very friendly. A great stay at Garner Hotel.
