I chose this hotel mainly because I needed to be near the trade fair in Cologne. For visiting Koelnmesse every day, I'd recommend it. Breakfast was definitely above average, though the rooms are quite small, with space for only one person in a double room. It's good value for money, apart from the €250 per night, which is extreme.

It's a clean, tidy budget hotel with everything you need in a compact room. I like it and will visit again. The only drawback for me is the long walk to the city centre.

The room was a surprise, and not in a good way. It wasn't very clean, and we found an insect crawling under the bed. The bathroom was see-through, which felt uncomfortable when traveling with a friend, especially someone of the opposite sex. It also took 30 minutes to get to the Köln station, and noise from the next-door guest made the stay unpleasant.

We paid around 100 euro for one night in a small room. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. We ordered food through Uber Eats and included my room number, but nobody told us when it arrived. It sat there for 30 minutes.

The location is great for getting to the Messe, but the room was a real letdown. The floors were dirty, the bedroom walls were marked up, and the toilet, shower interior, and sink all needed proper cleaning. The pillows were so small and flat that I think leaves from outside would have been more comfortable.
