I used to feel very comfortable here because of the friendly neighborhood, and for a long time I was happy to pay the high rent. The location and amenities are good, but in my opinion things have changed drastically for the worse. The rent has gone up by about €22 per square meter, I often don’t know my neighbors anymore, and the pleasant neighborhood get-togethers have given way to hostility. I’ve stopped keeping my bicycle in the shared bike room and no longer want to use the underground parking space. It’s also become too noisy for us. Children sometimes play outside until 11 pm, there are no midday quiet hours, and we can only use our balcony to dry laundry. We’re no longer willing to pay over €1,800 a month for our three-room apartment of about 85 square meters, and we’re looking at other places. The expensive apartments in Park Linné often seem affordable only to young families with children or high earners. Retirees, with their 48% of previous income, are a minority here, and in my view their needs get less consideration. I’d like to see a more diverse social mix. That’s an appeal to Aachener Grundvermögen, which manages church funds. I enjoyed living here for a long time, but I’m glad I’ll soon be somewhere peaceful and won’t have to deal with any of this. Everything has its price, but people determine its value by coming or going!

The staff are well trained and always friendly, and sometimes they even use your name. It’s a stylish complex with a top-notch service and a very pleasant living environment. The new office building next door does spoil some of the lovely view from the window, though. Also, I think it’s a real shame that commuters parking in the private lots no longer get towed. It can be nearly impossible to find a space.

The apartments are great, and the service is top-notch too. The new caretaker gives top-notch customer service. I’m very satisfied!

Everything was exactly as pictured, and there was absolutely everything we needed. Check-in was very friendly, and they were accommodating with their time. Perfect.
