Hotel Casa Colonia

The hotel is on a quiet street, yet really close to the center, which made getting around easy. We spent three nights there with our baby and dog. Our room felt cosy and had plenty of space, and it was clean. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. I'd definitely recommend it for a city visit.

The advance check-in system worked really well. After we missed our ICE connection, we reached Cologne late in the evening and could still book a room and check in. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the central station, even with luggage. Our room was clean, modern, and good-looking. I watched an episode of 'The Office' on the TV using my own HDMI cable, a nice end to a rough travel day. Breakfast was very good, and the woman looking after it was attentive, helpful, and spoke good English. The receptionist also helped print my invoice and fill out the DB reimbursement form.

We had a triple room with three proper beds and loads of space, which is something we haven't often found. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the decor was tasteful. It's just minutes from the train station, but somehow there was no train noise in the room. Breakfast was good, and everyone on staff was lovely and helpful. A perfect choice for a weekend in Cologne, I can't recommend it enough.

Two great restaurants right nearby were an added bonus. We had a fantastic three-night stay at Hotel Casa Colonia. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. The location worked perfectly for us. We'll definitely stay at Hotel Casa Colonia when we return to Cologne. Thank you!
