There are plenty of cafes and places to eat breakfast nearby, which is why I skipped the hotel breakfast. My waterfront room was clean and airy with a good view, and I had no complaints about it. I never heard noise from the restaurants along this town-center waterfront, even when they were busy. Finding the hotel entrance took some care, though, since I walked past it twice. From the entrance to reception, the place looks fairly uninspiring.

The place gets pretty noisy at night because there are lots of restaurants underneath. The hotel also feels very dated, and given what we paid, we wondered why it still hasn’t been renovated.

The beds were plain, but clean and comfortable enough, and the reception staff were helpful. For the price and amount of space, it’s one of the better three-star hotels. Just know there’s no elevator from the ground floor to reception on the first floor, though there is one from reception up to the rooms.

The location is the real highlight, and the price was amazing. Check-in was quick and easy, the Wi-Fi worked well for me while I was working, and the room and shower were clean and nice. The top-floor rooms are great too. Nothing fancy, but I enjoyed it a lot.
