I rarely leave hotel reviews. Usually a place has to be really nice, in a great location, or have especially friendly staff to get one from me. This one had all of that, and I was lucky to find it when everywhere in Cologne was booked. The room was spotless, comfortable, and nice, and the staff were very friendly. The location was perfect for what I needed, right on the river, with room for long walks or a beautiful morning run. There’s even a playground nearby, and parking is easy. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Cologne.

Rodenkirchen is a quiet Cologne suburb, and this charming boutique hotel sits right by the River Rhine. Our room was spacious and had a large balcony looking out over the Rhine shores.

The neighborhood is quiet and parking is good, both big pluses. Everything feels stylish and welcoming, from the entrance and bar to the rooms and breakfast area. The view was hard to beat, the room and bed were comfortable, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. Really liked it, and I’ll come again :)
