The sauna was a lovely bonus after the uphill walk back from town. The apartment itself was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed, and the owner kindly showed us how it all worked. It was a little far from the center, and while there was a small terrace, bushes surrounded it and blocked the view. We did miss having a balcony.
We were welcomed warmly, and the room was clean. The balcony had a lovely view, and the shower felt very luxurious.
The top-floor Nobling apartment gave us a lovely view over the Moselle Valley, and we felt right at home during our weekend with friends. It's newly furnished and comfortable. With four people, the second bedroom is reached through the stairwell, which worked fine for us. In good weather, there's also a large terrace one floor below, reached by the stairwell. Thanks so much for hosting us.
We stayed in the attic apartment with two other couples. It was nicely furnished and had what we needed, and the owners were very friendly. The house is in a very quiet part of Cond, across from the old town. The doors and windows look worn and date from the 1980s. We visited in December, and even with extra heating, the kitchen-living room felt a little drafty. You need to be comfortable walking some distance, since the uphill route back from the old town can be difficult for some.

The apartment was so thoughtfully equipped and tastefully furnished, we could happily have spent the whole day there. But Cochem is close enough to reach on foot, with its charming lanes, terraces, shops, and restaurants. Everything was very affordable too, about €50 for food and drinks for two. I wouldn't manage that in the Netherlands.
