Plaza Inn Dachau - München Hotel

There’s a 24-hour gas station and market beside the hotel with plenty of food and snack options. We had a great stay, with clean rooms, a very comfortable bed, and a good location. The woman at the front desk was especially kind and helpful.

Quendresa Musliu welcomed us warmly, helped us settle into our rooms, and got the TV set up. She also gave us useful tips on getting around the city. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the whole staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room had a broken window handle and the AC didn’t work. The TV was small and dated, and although they promise to make you feel at home with satellite channels, only about 10 worked. There was no mini fridge, but that hadn’t been advertised when I booked, so that was fine. I went down for ice since there are no ice machines on the floors. The receptionist from check-in was rude again, and after going to look, she said the ice machine was broken. Luckily, the person who replaced her was nice and went over to Burger King to get ice, since their new machine wasn’t powered on. Check-in itself was awful. The receptionist seemed miserable, was mean to the people ahead of us, and didn’t seem interested in helping us. For the price during Oktoberfest, I should have expected this, I guess. You get what you pay for.

The only small drawback was the room size, which could have been a bit larger. Still, that’s minor next to everything else. The hotel was very nice, with a comfy relaxation area and helpful, pleasant staff. Breakfast was fresh and nutritious, and the cozy rooms had the essentials, including a bed, shelves, hangers, and a pretty spacious shower.
