The food was tasty and came in big portions, so we left full and happy with the flavors. The hosts were so friendly, and the whole place felt relaxing and comfortable. There’s plenty of parking and lots of outdoor seating for summer. Looks like we’ll be back soon :)

The setting makes it easy to enjoy fresh air, hill views, walks nearby, and the wild nature. Schwabisch-Gmund and other towns are also pretty close. I’d recommend Landhaus am Rehwald for a relaxing break or vacation, alone or with family. We spent a fantastic weekend at this family hotel, and it was unforgettable. The six ROOMS we stayed in were nicely furnished, beautifully designed, and very clean. Each had a TV with lots of channels, and window screens kept out flies and mosquitoes. We tried several local dishes at the classic-styled RESTAURANT, and they were delicious. There’s indoor and outdoor seating with a nature view. Breakfasts were filling. We also celebrated a friend's wedding there on Saturday night with more than 50 guests. Everyone enjoyed the meat and Swabian cuisine, and the BAR and waitresses were well organized, serving drinks quickly and carefully. The facilities include a courtyard with a fruit garden and sculptures, free wi-fi, and a large parking lot. Across from the hotel there’s a kids amusement park and an enclosure where deer graze. The SERVICE was excellent. I was surprised by how happy the Buhler family seemed to welcome so many guests, even while working long hours late into the night without breaks. They stayed friendly and helpful, and did their best to make guests feel safe and well treated.
