A good fit for a group, with friendly, helpful staff and clean, neat rooms. I only needed a place to sleep and freshen up for a few days, and this simple place was perfect. I’d recommend it if you’re visiting the city and just need somewhere to stay overnight.

It can feel like the idea of a hostel hasn’t really made it to this city yet. Then there’s this place.

The place itself was thankfully nothing like the city of Dortmund, which I found terrible. It was cleaned regularly, and the owner was really pleasant and kind. The downside is the location near the train station, though which way your windows face matters. Some people may see that as a plus since you can take the train into the center.
