The worst part was how unclean the rooms were, with a horrible smell and even mold in the bathroom. The design also feels very old fashioned, and I really think the hotel needs a serious renovation.

The receptionist was super friendly and helpful, and the location and prices are very good. The rooms seem to be partway through renovation, but they're acceptable.

The sheets were clean, there was hot water, and it was quiet and cheap. It's a bit outside downtown, though not too far. I’d call it a hidden gem and would recommend it or try it again in the future.

The only drawback was the Wi-Fi in our second-floor room. It was fine for Messenger and What's App, but not for YouTube, Netflix, or Facebook videos. Otherwise it was a cosy place with nice rooms, a great shower, and friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but more than enough, and the shopping street is about a 10-minute walk away.
