Even though it was busy, the staff welcomed me warmly and seated me straight away. The cozy interior and relaxing background music made for a nice atmosphere. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. Prices felt fair for the quality, and it’s easy to get to by public transport. I’d happily come back.

I went with my parents for a special occasion. The owner, who’s also the chef, came out and chatted with us at the table. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was really helpful, from taking my jacket and adjusting the seat to preparing the food and removing a bone at the table. The atmosphere was very neat and German, lol.

The German food was delicious and well prepared, and the place itself is beautiful, with a pastry area offering a selection of cakes. We were told to choose two or three, but couldn’t choose just one. Getting around the different areas wasn’t clear, and we had to walk through the parking lot. Security gave priority to a car over a three-year-old child, so be aware. The party area could be better organized, and staff should be more professional about not playing in the customer area. From the other side, you can see there’s good camaraderie. You’ll need to be local or have a car.

The food was very good, and if you’ve got time for a gourmet German meal, this is a great spot. Everything moves slowly here, as if the place were frozen in time, so it’s probably not right for a quick bite if you’re in a hurry.

A lovely find on the outskirts of Dortmund. The food is very good, with plenty of vegetarian choices and salads. Their breads are awesome 👌
