I can’t sleep on a hard mattress, and this one was extremely hard, practically like sleeping on the floor. It also creaked whenever I turned over. I booked because reviews described the mattresses as nice and soft, but this was the complete opposite. For what was offered, the price felt like a rip-off, and I expect suitable compensation from the hotel, at least a 50% discount on the total. One other thing: the website says check-in is possible until 9 pm, but the place is staffed only until 4 pm, so you have to use a key box. That information should definitely be corrected. It’s a minor point, but I wanted to mention it.

The guesthouse was perfect otherwise, right by the tram stop, and the breakfast buffet was ideal. I did lose a gold ring with a lot of sentimental value in room number 8. The cleaning ladies didn’t find it. I’m sure I heard it hit the floor when I got up in the morning, but I was sleepy and left without paying attention. I only realized it on the way from Dresden. If anyone finds it 🙏🏼

We came back for a second stay while attending an event in Dresden, and again had only good things to say about the guesthouse and its attached restaurant. The food was excellent, and the staff were fun and very friendly. We always enjoy returning.

The bus stop is very close, so you can leave the car behind if you’re heading downtown. The relaxed, friendly staff and spotless, modern rooms made this an easy place to recommend. I’d book again in a heartbeat. 👍😊

I’d definitely book again. The staff are excellent, and the rooms are modernly furnished. There’s a bus stop nearby, so you can leave your car if you want to go downtown. 👍😊
